Each Design Response project team consists of a lead designer supported by a team of interior design students. Students benefit in several ways. They gain hands-on experience and practical application of their classroom knowledge by working on a design project from start to finish under the guidance of a professional designer. Students can also earn intern hours while gaining real-life experience.

Are you an individual or corporation with financial resources or materials to donate?

Design Response relies on donations of materials such as paint, tile, fabric and other materials to complete our projects. Whenever possible, we recycle good quality, reusable commercial and residential furnishings, fixtures and materials.

We also greatly appreciate cash gifts to help purchase specific items and services not available through donations. Your materials and financial donations benefit people in need throughout our local communities.

Design Response has ongoing opportunities for artists, skilled trades people, facilities managers, move specialists, cost estimators, and other skills related to facility renovations and management. We also have occasional volunteer opportunities for public relations professionals, copywriters, web developers and graphic designers.

Volunteers are also needed for our annual fundraising event – Cool Stuff – Be a part of a committee or volunteer just for the day of the event.
